Description: Southern Vermont College is employing Full Time Nursing Faculty position right now, this vacancy will be placed in Vermont. NURSING FACULTY - Full Time Southern Vermont College is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Division of Nursing with the opportunity to provide inst! ruction in the Associate’s and RN to BS Degree Nursing programs. Full-time faculty are expected to teach didactic and clinical components as well as serve as academic advisors and divisional representatives on College committees and to participate in curriculum development, program assessment, ongoing professional development, and student recruitment and orientation activities.

Full-time Faculty Teaching assignments are available throughout the Associate Degree and RN to BS Degree Programs. Specific curriculum areas of need are fundamentals of nursing, medical/surgical, simulation laboratory learning, as well as upper-level courses within the BSN program. Full-time faculty members must be able to teach in the College's new curriculum, emphasizing a laboratory teaching methodology which endorses peer-to-peer learning, research, and active engagement in all didactic and clinical courses. .

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience: Qualifications A Doctorate in Nursing or related field is p! referred. A minimum of an MSN and eligibility for licensure to practice in the state of Vermont are required. Candidates with college teaching experience and additional certification in a nursing specialty and/or an appropriate terminal degree will be given preference
