Under the direction of the anesthesiologist duties normally performed by the CRNA will include, but are not limited to: Pre-anesthetic patient assessment by conducting and documenting an appropriate anesthetic history and physical examination; ordering appropriate consults and diagnostic tests; selecting anesthetic pre-medications and fluids.
