The Hospitalist service is a tight knit, collegial group of 3 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners, seeking to add an additional physician to complete their team. Scheduling is decided amongst the physicians - Medical Director feels strongly about allowing his team to set their own schedules and does what he can to keep his team happy and engaged. Hospitalists work 14 shifts p! er month with a blend of days and night coverage. The Hospital! ist team enjoys a great reputation in the community and the local primary care physicians are happy to refer their patients to the hospital for their care. The ideal Hospitalist candidate has ties to Vermont and looking for a collegial team to join, is Board Certified if working now or if a resident intends to sit exam in 2014, comfortable with procedures and rounding on critical care patients. There is a part-time Pulmonologist and full-time Medical Cardiologist to assist with procedures and the ED Physicians are available 24/7 to assist as well. Collegial Hospitalist Team - looking for another to join group
Work a minimum of 14 shifts per month
Shifts are 12 hours - no call - days and nights are shared amongst the team
Will consider both IM and FP physicians with experience !
Procedures required, will assist with certification for physicians that need
French and Spanish Language Skills helpful, but not mandatory
