tours of duty. This professional promotes excellence in patient care, facilitates staff development,
maintains safety standards and demonstrates clinical and administrative competence.
- Responsible for delivery of patient care that promotes safety/well being of all patients throughout the organization.
- Responsible for activities in hospital in the absence of senior administration and department managers.
- Maintains open communication with all staff.
- Assumes the responsibility of chief retention officer, implementing retention strategies that promote a positive, nurturing, and professional work environment in conjunction with nurse managers.
- Works in conjunction with Nursing Leadership to implement nursing strategic plan.
- Acts as point person for coordination of patient care and external agency personnel.
- Works in conjunction with other facilities to assure continuation of patient care related to patient's needs and bed availability
3-5 years of successful practice as a Registered Nurse. Supervisory experience
preferred.
