Description: Northwestern Medical Center is looking of Surgical Services Technician, Surgical Services, Full Time right now, this job will be placed in Vermont. For detail informations about this job opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Average Weekly Hours:
40 hours per week.

Provides safe, basic nursing care to patients in the Ambulatory, Outpatient and Operating Room Department, within the scope of LNA practice, under direct supervision of an LPN or RN. This includes personal hygiene care, monitoring patients medical status and assisting with bed mobility and transfers as indicated. Performs reception and clerical functions on Ambulatory|Outpatient|Operating Room Department and for the Chief of Anesthesia. The tech role also provides assistance to nursing and physician within Surgical services with patient related activities including transportation of patients, cleaning, moving and setting up clinical equipment, support anesthesiologist by setting up for cases and stocking carts, assist central sterile and nursing with room cleaning and set up.

Hiring Range Description:
Grade: P15

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Current licensure in as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Vermont is beneficial. Knowledge of basic terminology.

Experience:
18 months experience as an LNA in a hospital setting. Previous clinical experience in medical/surgical unit preferred. Computer experience preferred.

Special Skills / Other:
Communicates clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing. Has the ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing demands. Has an approachable, friendly demeanor.
