Gifford is currently looking for an LPN to join our award winning team on Menig's Extended Care Unit. This person will be responsible for assisting in coordination of nursing care for patients, serving as a patient advocate, providing patient and family teaching in a multidisciplinary health care setting. S/he will provide dir! ect care to assigned patients in conformance with hospital pol! icies, professional standards, physician orders, and approved plan of care. The nursing process will be utilized in the provision of patient care. S/he will function within limits of Vermont Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, guided by Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice, hospital and nursing department policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Current LPN licensure by the State of Vermont required. EOE
