Responsibilities of the Operating Room Nurse:
Utilizes the nursing process with supervi sion/assistance to deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes.
Communicates need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations.
Works closely with the moderate sedation standards and will function in the moderate sedation RN duties. Training is provided. Will float to the local with sedation procedure room for minor surgical cases.

Requirements of the Operating Room Nurse :
Graduate of a nursing program; associates degree or bachelors program
Valid and current Vermont License
Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Permit for the state of Vermont.
