The Clinical Manager operationalizes the objectives, policies, and procedures of the
Medical
Center
and Clinical Services for a specific shift, assumes accountability for monitoring all department activity, including, but not limited to, patient flow, appropriate staffing, assignment of care, and staff development.
Minimum Education
§
Graduate of approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
§
Two years of clinical experience preferred,
§
Leadership experience required.
Required Licenses/Certifications
§
Licensed in the State of
Vermont
.
§
CPR Certification.
§
Unit-specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, CPI) per specific department operational framework.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
§
Clinical nursing sk! ills.
§
Leadership ability.
§
Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
§
Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
