This position is a Per Diem evening, weekend and overnight position.

The Vi! siting Nurse Association is excited to announce the opening of a per diem position for an LNA at Anderson Parkway in South Burlington! Provide a variety of services to clients with mobility impairments who choose to live independently.

JOB OVERVIEW

The LNA provides care for up to nine residents by assisting them with the activities of daily living and independent activities of daily living. Staff must be able to work collaboratively with residents and accept direction from residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Vermont Licensed Nursing Assistant license, basic education (high school), with previous experience in nursing home or similar facility desired, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
• Knowledge of physical, emotional, developmental needs of and ways to work with population served by home health agency.
• Communicate and interact effectively with i! ndividuals and groups.
• Identify emergency situations ! and act appropriately to provide assistance.
• Work independently in private homes under the supervision of a licensed RN, PT.
• Physical ability to perform all personal care activities and other essential job duties per current agency standards (Refer to LNA Physical Demands form).
• Complete additional training appropriate to the job prior to assignment.
• Possession of active driver's license with a relatively clean driving history and the use of a dependable registered and insured car.

All Agency Employees are required to carry Automobile Insurance. The minimum requirements for Bodily Injury are $100,000 per person and $300,000 per incident. Proof of Insurance is required upon hire.
