We currently have an exciting Direct Hire opportunity for a Pharmacist in St. Johnsbury, VT

Responsibilities and prospects for Pharmacist include :
Performs all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed
Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines
Follows all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of Pharmacy
Oversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claims
Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to insure maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs
Oversees the transmitting, processing and receiving of orders to and from the Company Warehouse and additional suppliers as needed
Oversees the checking of pharmacy i! nventory for outdates and processing of all returns
Insure! s prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines Insures in-store pharmacy technology is being used to its fullest potential to insure a maximum return on investment of the technology and life span Insure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all times
Insure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention
Assist in the implementation of all corporate pharmacy marketing, advertising and promotional programs are fully executed and implemented
Oversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to insure a clean and professional environment
Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions
Maintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own prac! tice
Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information
Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel
Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines
Assist in the training and development of all pharmacy department personnel, including use of the Company Pharmacy Clerk and Technician Training Program
Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed
Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
Perform other duties as assigned

Education and experience for Pharmacist include:
Masters Degree
2 years experience as a Pharmacist
1 year retail pharmacy experience
