Job Responsibilities
As an ICU Registered Nurse you will care for critically ill p! atients of all ages and diagnoses involving complex assessment! s which include high intensity healthcare interventions.
Additional responsibilities of the position include:
Attending to the psychosocial and emotional needs of patients and their families
Providing advanced nursing care for patients in critical or coronary care units
Monitoring patients for changes in status and indications of conditions such as sepsis or shock and institute appropriate interventions
Setting up and monitor medical equipment and devices such as cardiac monitors, mechanical ventilators and alarms, oxygen delivery devices, transducers, and pressure lines
Administering medications intravenously, by injection, orally, through gastric tubes, or by other methods
Evaluating patients' vital signs and laboratory data to determine emergency intervention needs

Job Requirements
To qualify for the ICU Registered Nurse you must have previous experie! nce as a registered nurse with experience working with critically ill patients in a healthcare environment.
Additional requirements of the position include:
Current and valid Registered Nurse license in state of requested employment
1 year experience in nursing as a registered nurse or equivalent healthcare experience
