Description: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is in need of Certified Nurse Midwife right now, this position will be placed in Vermont. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. Provides maternity care and management for women with uncomplicated pregnancies, provides gynecological care in an outpatient setting, collaborates with the physician in providing care ! for selected patients with problems, participates in rotating on call labor and delivery coverage for BMH obstetrical patients, structures OB/GYN care that is designed to include the assessment of patients, a plan of care, the implementation of appropriate therapeutic decisions, and relevant follow-up, maintains a safe environment for patient/staff while executing daily operational activities in a cost-effective manner. Certified nurse midwife required; Masters Degree or equivalent desired. Three years of nurse/midwifery experience in a hospital setting preferred. Required: Current licensure as an APRN by the State of Vermont, Certifications as a certified nurse midwife, Qualified to be credentialed by the BMH Medical Staff, DEA license, CPR, Neonatal necessitation within 6 months of hire.
