General Job Description

Consultative, evaluation, administrative and technical work at a professional level for the Office of the Secretary of State in providing services to the State Board of Nursing and the nursing community. Duties involve coordination of a statewide Nursing and Nursing Assistants' education and competency evaluation program. Significant interaction occurs with the Board, nursing schools and the nursing community. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Nursing Board Executive Officer.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school of ! nursing.
Experience: Five years as a Registered Nur! se.
Preference: Two years of nursing teaching experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Vermont.
