The Opportunity This position is responsible for overseeing and managing FAHC's Imaging, Laboratory, and Pathology systems applications, working with the VP and CMIO in creating imaging, lab, and pathology system strategies to facilitate the processes of these systems within Fletcher Allen Health Care and across Fletcher Allen Partners. System development activities will include selection, design, programming, and piloting of all new imaging, lab, and pathology systems applications. The incumbent receives fun! ctional guidance from Directors of the Laboratory, Radiology, ! Cardiology, Radiation Oncology, and other specialties. Works in consort with the Chair of Radiology.

The Director has fiscal and operational responsibility for the Imaging and Laboratory IS teams. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with IS architecture, quality control, installation, ongoing support, enhancement needs, and cost effective utilization of resources The Candidate: An M.S. or M.B.A. in business administration or computer science is preferred; a minimum of a BA/BS in computer science, business administration or other relevant clinical field required.
