The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians with pa! tient care, clerical duties, and environmental and organizational tasks. Hiring Range Description:
Grade: 18

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program and/or preferred Licensed Nursing Assistant or may be substituted with a minimum of five years experience performing medical assistant duties in an applicable medical setting with no training needed in the specific skills necessary to perform the duties required

Experience:
One year experience in an applicable medical setting preferred, experience with venipuncture and injections preferred.

Special Skills / Other:
Computer skills required. Medical terminology required.
