Fletcher Allen, Vermont’s academic medical center and founding member of the Fletcher Allen Partners health system, is seeking a Director of Total Rewards to join the Human Resources department. Fletcher Allen Health Care (http://www.fletcherallen.org) together with the University of Vermont College of Medicine and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, is Vermont’s academic medical center. We are seeking a Director of Total Rewards with an extensive background in compensation, benefits, HRIS and management. The position will directly manage a staff of five leaders, and will report to the VP of Human Resources. The Opportunity The Director of Total Rewards provides leadership and management for the development of strategic plans involving Compensation, Benefits, HRIS and Employee Health. The Director will beinstrumental in ! the development of a comprehensive total rewards plan aimed at! recruiting talent, developing culture and building engagement. The Director will participate in achievement of financial goals, continuous quality improvement and compliance with all regulatory requirements, while supporting the mission, vision, values and strategic objectives of the organization.?? As an academic medical center dedicated to being in service to the patient, community and medicine, Fletcher Allen (www.fletcherallen.org)seeks to improve the health of the people in the communities it serves by integrating patient care, education and research in a caring environment. The Position The Director of Total Rewards is responsible for leading the organization’s benefits, compensation, HRIS, employee health and injury prevention and wellness programs. The Director strategically directs, develops and implements comprehensive total reward programs that align with Fletcher Allen’s strategic objectives whilesupporting our culture of ONE, maintaining competitive positioning in the market, and ensuring legal and contractual compliance. The salary for this position ranges from (min) $110,988.00 to (max) $166,462.00. Requirements

The Candidate ? The right candidate for this position must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources orrelated business area. Ideally, the incumbentwould be a Certified Compensation Professional(CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or SPHR. We are looking for someone with Seven or more years of Employee Benefits and Compensation experience; Progressive management experience ina complex healthcare environment leading a team of Human Resources professionals; Five or more years of increasing responsibilities in the management of total reward programs HR systems; Track record demons! trating the ability to improve HR systems and enhance operational effic! iency. Extensive knowledge and proven experience working in the employee benefits field, including strategic planning and program design, budget forecasting, cost benefit analysis, administration, vendor management and communications is a must. Extensive knowledge and proven experience in salary planning and administration at bothstaffand executive level, including tools and best practices is also essential.
