Gifford Medical Center in beautiful Randolph, Vermont, is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our Operating Room. This is a unique opportunity to work in a spec! tacular setting at a rural, financially stable, non-profit hospital with a progressive philosphy, supportive administrative team and advanced technology.
The RN will be responsible for perioperative care, monitoring patients pre and post-op, and IV starts, with an intimate knowledge of medications and medication administration. Must be able to work collaboratively as a team member, but also be self-directed and self-motivated. Will be responsible for educating patient and family appropriately, while communicating in a positive and professional manner.
The successful applicant will have strong time management abilities and be available to participate in rotating call coverage. Prior experience in medical/surgical or ambulatory care preferred. Current Vermont RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS required. EOE
