Visiti! ng Nurse Association (VNA) is a non-profit agency that provides community based healthcare services to individuals and their families. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Development who has a proven track record in the successful development and management of proposals for grants. This is a salaried, full-time position that requires a flexible schedule.

The Assistant Director of Development manages and coordinates an extensive portfolio of grant funding including funding requests to federal, state, cities and towns, and community sources. In addition, this position seeks to extend into new areas, particularly funding opportunities that support the organization’s mission for clinical services and development activities. A successful candidate must have outstanding writing skills, expertise in preparing proposals, technical expertise in extracting and presenting complex data in simple formats, and experience using electronic media and internet-based ! literature reviews.

The Assistant Director must be ab! le to meet the all the job requirement and model professionalism by exhibiting excellent and responsible leadership and judgment regarding interpersonal relationships by encouraging mutual respect among team members. In addition, the Assistant Director is required to be familiar with actual duties/responsibilities of all positions the Vice President of Development supervises and act in the absence of the V.P.
