We are looking for an APP to join four cardiologists in our Heart Center. The Heart Center is a conglomeration of four cardiologists who were in our community in private practice â€" who became hospital employed and formed a distinctive center of heart health. Programs include tobacco cessation, behavioral health, CHF study to evolve to a clinic, Coumadin Clinic with Pharmacist. Within the program, there is a nurse designated to triage patients at the center, which helps to keep the Heart Center patients from using the ER to assess a potential crisis. The building is separate from the hospital and conveniently across the street. Stress tests, Echos, lab, and nuclear stress testing are all done in the Heart Center. 5 day work week, with 4.5 days of patient appointments. Friday will be a half day. Hours are 8:00 â€" 5:00. No call, no weekends.
