We currently have a flexible full time opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Float, in our Medical Surgical & ICU Departments. The Registered Nurse - Float provides safe nursing care in a timely manner to patients on the Medical Surgical Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Family Birth Center or Emergency Department with a high degree of independence. Performs within the scope of professional nursing practice as defined by the State Board of Nursing. Demonstrates on-going professional growth. The Float RN will be required to rotate to all nursing departments within the hospital based on patient census and staffing need. These rotations may be for full or partial shift coverage, and the Float RN may work on multiple units during one complete shift. Flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs, and adaptability to changing patient acuity are required.
